Data Plates

A Ford patent data plate mounted in the usual location. Most 1930-31 Briggs and Murray built bodies had their body Tag mounted as shown. Note the painted hole plug in place of the vacuum line attachment. The early Deluxe Fordor was fitted with an electric windshield wiper.

A close-up reveals the number details and characteristics of the Briggs body tag. Some body tags were attached with pan head sheet metal screws. This one used the same rivets as the patent plate.
