1929 "Steel Back" Fordor - Continued

The seats are done in the plain panel with lap seam design. The original lap seam design had the seam anchored to the spring assembly. This provided a slight downward pull at the seam for appearance, and prevented the cover from shifting.

The front seat back was capped with a bamboo trim strip covered with the plain brown cloth. The rear cushion (like the front) had darts at the corners to allow the seat welt to sit well below the upper surface.

The window curtain was plain brown silk poplin (15% silk, cotton) with a pull tab. The curtain roller was the usual 3/4" dia., but has the nickel plated end caps similar in size to the mounting brackets.
